Arianna Huffington

Arianna Stassinopoulos Huffington, a Greek American businesswoman and syndicated journalist, is also an author. She's written 15 books and is the cofounder of The Huffington Post. Arianna Huffington, an independently-owned liberal news site and a television host, author, and philanthropist. Following her move into England from Greece at the age of 16 She earned an MA with a major in Economics from Cambridge University. When she was 21, she became the head of the famous debate society The Cambridge Union' and was the first foreign born student to do so. After the graduation ceremony, she was a well-known right-wing syndicated reporter. After a few years later she created The Huffington Post which featured critical commentary on the current politics. Arianna was able to attract many prominent contributors to share their opinions regarding politics and culture. Arianna's popularity started in 2003, after she became an independent candidate in the California recall election to succeed the then governor Davis. Additionally, she was involved in a Detroit-based project that promoted cars that are fuel efficient. Forbes listed her 12th in its list for the Most Influential Media Women. Guardian also included the Huffington Post in their top 100 list in 2010. In 2011, AOL Inc. purchased The Huffington Post and made the president of that media unit, which comprised of many at the time-current AOL properties too such as Engadget AOL music Style list and Patch Media. Elli Stasinopoulos is the daughter of Konstantinos an advisor to management and a journalist. She was extremely close to her father. However, it was her relationship with her mother which formed her. In her earliest years, she exhibited the qualities of a leader for which are still prominently known. At the age of 16 the girl moved into her home in United Kingdom for her higher education. At Girton College Cambridge. When she was in college, she joined Cambridge Union's debate societies in the college where she eventually became its first foreign and female president. She graduated in 1972 with an honorary degree in Economics. Following her graduation, she became a critic columnist and television host. In addition, she was a part of the show Face the music along with Bernard Levin and began writing books, utilizing editorial guidance from him.
